Haku, also known as Kohaku River (ニギハヤミ コハクヌシ, Nigihayami Kohaku Nushi), is one of the central characters in Studio Ghibli’s anime masterpiece Spirited Away, directed by Hayao Miyazaki. He appears as a mysterious young boy who helps the protagonist Chihiro navigate the spirit world, but his true form is a magnificent white dragon — the spirit of the Kohaku River. Haku is one of the most beloved characters in anime history, known for his loyalty, grace, and the breathtaking dragon transformation scenes that remain iconic to this day.
This hand-carved wooden pendant captures Haku in his powerful dragon form, framed within a rectangular relief surrounded by swirling clouds and leaves. Carved from rich, dark walnut wood with intricate openwork detail, every scale, whisker, and curl of wind is shaped entirely by hand. The pendant hangs on a cord, making it a striking wearable piece of anime art for any Spirited Away or Studio Ghibli fan.
